#1. Top 10 Slim iPhone 7 Cases - Case Comparison Tool: me choose what to review next: Mobile Reviews Eh!, we base everything on actual usage so you find a product in our lists that we haven't used ourselves. It took us about 180 hours and $900 dollars to get to a point where we are comfortable in creating a Top 10 list that is worthwhile.
#1. Speck Presidio GRIP - feature of the case is the handling it provides for your iPhone. The ribs on the back of the case make it extremely grippy case.
Speck claims it is drop-rated but our drop tests have shown otherwise. Urban Armor Gear Monarch - fanciest case on this list as it is made from TPU, Polycarbonate, leather and aluminum (a tiny amount). The handling of the iPhone in the case is awesome.
#3. Spigen Tough Armor - of the easiest cases to find and with the iPhone 7 version, Spigen added extra protection at the bottom of the iPhone. It handles well and can handle a 6 ft drop from 6ft.
My biggest gripe with this case is the variability between colors as there are different coatings and TPU sleeves. Depending on your combination, you may end up with an average case.
#4. Incipio Reprieve Sport - toughest, clear case on the list. The bumpers improve the handling of the case and the Reprieve Sport is drop-rated to 12 ft.
The downside is that the back of the case will show fingerprints and face grease easily.
#5. Ballistic Jewel - tough clear case and from our usage, can handle a 6ft face first drop without any issue. The standout feature of the case are the Ballistic corners that provide protection as well as decent handling.
Only issue are the pliable sides which may result in dust/debris getting between the case and device quicker than other cases.
#6. Tech 21 Impact Clear - slim, no nonsense clear case that is drop-rated to 5 ft. The back is quite slick but will hide fingerprints and face grease well (unlike the Ballistic Jewel and Incipio Reprieve Sport.
#7. Spigen Hybrid Armor - Spigen Hybrid Armor was the only Spigen case that had both the "grippy" clear TPU and soft-rubber coated polycarbonate. This combination provides the best handling out of all the Spigen cases.
#8. Rhinoshield Crashguard - only bumper on the list. The best part of the Rhinoshield Crashguard is the protection it offers your iPhone without adding bulk.
#9. Tech 21 Evo Mesh/Check - Tech 21 Evo Mesh is one of my goto cases. The rubbery texture of the case ensures that your iPhone isn't going to slip out of your hand accidentally. However, some people may find the texture "sticky" and it may get caught on the insides of pockets.
The case is wider than the average iPhone case which may make the iPhone 7 Plus unwieldy.
#10. Silk Innovation Base Grip - Base Grip is the smallest/slimmest case on this list. Unlike other ultra slim cases, the Base Grip doesn't feel flimsy. The texture of the case works for handling but oddly enough the case will slide around easily on a flat surface.
