How to Lace Your Running Shoes

This lacing technique will have a significant beneficial effect on any running day, whether it is your first training day or race day. The laces need to be secured for runnnig and especially in an event, described by a German physicist two years ago at a sports science seminar as a "controlled free fall!" I refer to the lacing technique as, "battening down the hatches, as one would for the Baja 1000." Dr. Paul Copeskey
